Battery Safety & Compliance

Charging

Always use a balance charger rated for the battery's chemistry (LiPo or Li-ion) and cell count.
Never leave a charging battery unattended, and charge on a fire-resistant surface such as a LiPo charging bag.
Do not charge a battery that is swollen, punctured, or visibly damaged.
Charge at room temperature — avoid charging in direct sun or extreme heat.

Storage

Store LiPo batteries at storage voltage (around 3.8V per cell) if not using them for more than a few days.
Keep batteries in a fire-resistant bag or container, away from flammable materials.
Avoid storing in direct sunlight, hot vehicles, or humid environments.

Shipping & Transport

Lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods for transport under IATA and domestic road transport rules. Because of this:

Battery orders are packed and dispatched in compliance with applicable transport regulations.
Some pin codes may have longer delivery timelines for battery-only orders, since certain routes are surface-only.
We're unable to expedite battery shipments via air courier in all regions.

Disposal

Never dispose of lithium batteries in regular household waste.
Fully discharge a battery before disposal, and hand it over to a certified e-waste or battery recycling collection point.

If a battery is swollen, smoking, or on fire

Move it away from flammable materials to an open, non-flammable area immediately if it is safe to do so, and do not attempt to charge or use it again. Contact local emergency services for any fire risk you cannot safely control yourself.
